Gravelbourg Sask. C/M Plant & R&D potential
Gravelbourg Sask. C/M Plant & R&D potential
Meeting tax & renovation criteria
If at least 100 acres not far with. Would suit C/M
"Would require a warehouse addition & preservation yet some renovations then accommodations + any asbestos removed + ventilation"
Likely not the best for for C/M but many may be able to utilize

Want to consult with Carole or I on your next real estate purchase? Click this link to set up a short discovery call: https://cal.com/philwells Today we have a special feature for you. People reach out to me all the time with properties they think I should tour, but I pay special attention when my mom presents something to me. We've been doing this our whole lives -- coming up with crazy ideas and presenting them as if we could do them. My practical dad never loved it -- I think he thought that my mom and I would get carried away and into financial ruin from our projects. But for us it was usually about the dream, and about the possibility. So when I got a message from my mom saying "We should turn this convent into housing, and a community center!" I took special notice. We chatted about it for weeks. And pretty soon, I decided that I we should make a video on the channel about it. But I couldn't go, as I already had some trips booked. So I convinced her to. Now it wasn't the best idea, from a financial perspective, as it wasn't going to be cheap to produce. And there wasn't much of a commission to be made on a price of $0.00. But my heart was in it -- this building was truly special, and I thought that maybe, just maybe, my platform could make a difference. So I hope that this video finds the right person who falls in love with this convent and turns it into something great -- well, it already is something great -- but who brings new life into it so the community of Gravelbourg can enjoy it for the next 100 years. Let me know what you think of this video in the comments. I'd love to expand the scope of the channel a bit, so this video is a bit of an experiment. Information below about the project. Total area: between 75,000 and 90,000 SF of useable space across 4 floors plus basement Total length: Approximately 300 feet Materials: Claybank brick and Tyndall stone Chapel, auditorium, piano studios, rooftop and art rooms Built: between 1917 and 1927 ------ The Town of Gravelbourg is conducting a two-phase search to identify firms or groups capable of providing a credible proposal for the Adaptive Reuse of the Former Gravelbourg Convent Site (Convent of Jesus & Mary).
