Desalinationed Ocean - Sea Water with On-Board electrolyzers

Hydrogen electrolyzers in automobiles, specifically "on-demand" or "on-board" electrolysis, are experimental systems designed to split water into hydrogen and oxygen while driving to power the engine, aiming for a self-sustaining vehicle that only emits water. Unlike standard fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) which fill up with compressed hydrogen, these systems in reported prototypes, aim to eliminate the need for high-pressure tanks and external fueling infrastructure

Our concerns over Hydrogen Fire & Explosion 

In-house hydrogen electrolyzers for automotive use enable the on-site generation of green hydrogen, allowing for home or fleet refueling directly from water and electricity (often sourced from solar panels). While primarily used for small-scale applications or specialized research, this technology offers a path toward total independence from traditional energy providers for Hydrogen Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEVs). 

Key Aspects of In-House Hydrogen Electrolyzers

• Technology & Application: These systems typically use Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) electrolyzers to split water (H2O) into hydrogen and oxygen. They are often paired with compressors to fill vehicles to pressures around 75–300 bar, though some systems may operate at lower pressures.

• Small-Scale Solutions: Small electrolyzers designed for home use can produce enough hydrogen (e.g., 0.5 Nm³/h to 2 Nm³/h) to fuel a vehicle or a personal transportation unit.

• Solar Integration: Ideal setups involve coupling the electrolyzer with solar panels (e.g., 6kW array) to ensure the hydrogen produced is entirely renewable, allowing users to fuel cars at night after solar generation during the day.

• Challenges: Key limitations for residential use include the high cost of equipment (some filling stations can cost upwards of $500,000, though smaller, more affordable, and fully-permitted units exist), the need for high-pressure storage, and the high electricity consumption required for production. 

Examples and Developments

• Residential & Experimental Systems: Individuals like Mike Strizki have built fully permitted, off-grid homes utilizing solar-hydrogen systems to power homes and vehicles. Companies like ITM Power have demonstrated home electrolyzers for overnight, low-pressure refueling of hydrogen cars.

• Commercial/Industrial Small Scale: Companies like Pure Energy Centre manufacture small electrolyzers tailored for educational institutions and small-scale, on-site, in-house vehicle refuelling.

• Automotive Industry Involvement: Toyota Industries Corporation has developed high-performance, precious metal-free electrodes for alkaline water electrolysis, aiming for cost-effective hydrogen production. 

Pros & Cons of In-House Production

• Pros: Potential for zero-emission driving, reduction in fuel costs, high energy independence, and utilization of existing water and electricity infrastructure.

• Cons: High initial investment, substantial footprint for storage equipment, high electricity demands, and the requirement for highly purified water.

SUCCESSFUL SMALL SCALE IN-HOUSE ELECTROLYZER HYDROGEN MOTO

The Liberty Engine Project involves YouTube-based experiments aiming to create "self-sustaining" or "infinite" energy by running modified generators on hydrogen produced via water electrolysis. The project commonly uses electrolyzers to split water, feeding hydrogen into the carburetor, with claims that the system produces more energy than it consumes, running indefinitely. 

Key aspects of the project found in search results include:

• Self-Sustaining Goal: The project aims to create a loop where the generator powers an electrolyzer, which in turn provides hydrogen fuel for the generator.

• Modifications: Reported modifications include installing neodymium magnets in alternators and adjusting carburetors for hydrogen combustion.

• Performance: Videos claim the 2.0 version is more stable and stronger than the 1.0, often claiming 3kW of free electricity from water.

• Mechanism: The process uses electrolyzer plates (e.g., 304L stainless steel) to produce hydrogen and oxygen (HHO) for combustion. 

Note: The claims of "infinite" energy and "self-sustaining" loops in these videos appear to contradict established laws of thermodynamics. 

Distinct Corporate Project:

In a separate, unrelated development, Liberty Utilities announced a green hydrogen pilot program with Ecolectro in June 2024, focusing on creating green hydrogen to blend into natural gas supplies for building heat, rather than a "self-sustaining" engine.

THE MOTORCYCLE PROPELLED WITH HYDROGEN

Operating instructions: When the switch of the electrolysis equipment is activated, the water begins to decompose and we obtain a gaseous mixture of hydrogen and oxygen that passes to the bubbler tank and is compressed to a pressure of 3.2 Bar. At that moment we have enough pressure for the bike to start. When the motorcycle runs at low rpm, the excess gas generated is expelled to the outside through a pressure relief valve that is installed in the bubble tank. And when the motorcycle runs at high revolutions per minute, all the gas that is generated in the electrolysis equipment is consumed by the motorcycle's engine. In this way the motorcycle engine always has the correct amount of fuel. Thanks to the HH+ compound, the hydrogen generator generates large amounts of hydrogen using very little electrical energy. This means that the motorcycle battery will never run out because as long as the motorcycle is running, the battery will continue to charge automatically and we will have fuel as long as we have water in the electrolysis equipment tank. Some time ago we discovered a way to make the electrolysis of water efficient enough to run a gasoline internal combustion engine all the time. We applied this technology to a gasoline electric generator, but we have still continued research to be able to apply it to a 650 cc motorcycle, and the result has been impressive. We are fed up with energy companies running the world, and for that reason we want to legally continue our revolution by showing the technology they have hidden.
